What is a Graduate Certificate?

A Graduate Certificate is a 6-month postgraduate university degree, which is designed to equip you with specific high-level skills in a selected knowledge area. Graduates at this level will have advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work.

Although a Graduate Certificates sits higher than a Bachelor’s degree and below a Master’s degree on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), most Graduate Certificates do not require you to have completed a Bachelor’s degree; your professional work experience can gain you entry.
