Meet Grace

Grace Parker, Master of Project Management student

"A Master of Project Management is like a toolkit for turning ideas into reality or making things happen while building meaningful relationships with stakeholders. It's all about learning how to plan, lead, and execute projects – in a variety of industries.

UOW’s reputation for providing practical education aligns with real-world industry needs. The teachers' level of knowledge and experience was impressive – they brought real-world insights to the classroom, sharing practical examples and case studies that enriched our learning. Their expertise not only made the concepts engaging but also prepared us well for the challenges we might face in our careers.

The project management subjects I completed have been directly relevant to my role. They've given me a solid foundation in handling timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination – all crucial aspects of civil engineering projects.

This qualification has undeniably widened my horizons and opened doors to new opportunities. Looking ahead, I'm excited to take on more challenging projects and continue gaining increased exposure to different projects and stages of civil engineering projects. It is shaping out to be an exciting path ahead."
